A. Let the Pictures tell the Story... This account is from the Christian Scriptures about the origin of Holy Spirit.
Before Jesus was crucified, his disciples swore they’d die for him. But in the Garden of Gethsemane, when the soldiers came, they all scattered.
Even after the resurrection, they stayed in hiding—until the day of Pentecost, when tongues of fire appeared on their heads. That’s when they were filled with boldness and finally stepped into their mission.
Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Great Comforter and said, “If I don’t go, the Comforter cannot come.” That tells us how vital the Holy Spirit truly is.
If the arrival of the Holy Spirit was that important to Christ… isn’t it time we reawakened to this mighty power in our own lives?
Even though the apostles had been hiding out in the upper room, everything changed in a flash.
As told in Acts 2:1–4, a mighty rushing wind filled the place, and tongues of fire appeared above their heads—marking the arrival of the Holy Spirit.
